Here you will find a lot of useful information about your appointment.

Patient Registration

Before we can treat you, you must be registered with us as a patient. You can register with us over the phone when you make your first booking or by booking online.

Free Pre-Assessment Consultations

We offer every new client the opportunity to have a 15 minute free consultation with one of our therapists. This is done face to face in clinic.

Please note that this does not replace the need for a full assessment and does not include any treatment. It is designed to give you the opportunity to discuss your needs and find out if our therapy is right for you before you commit.

Arriving at Your First Appointment

For appointments at Mill Clinic you will find us upstairs at the back of the shop. Please take a seat in the waiting area, and your therapist will call you in at your appointment time.

The clinic in Old Colwyn will be open during clinic hours, please come in and take a seat. The reception is not manned full-time, but your therapist will know you have an appointment.

The Denbigh clinic is in an old church building and does not have a dedicated waiting area. When you arrive please ring the bell and wait, someone will be with you as soon as they are available.

Initial Assessment

Your initial assessment will last approximately 30 minutes. You will be asked your reason for attending, the nature and history of your condition and any details that may be relevant to your assessment or treatment. The therapist will then conduct a physical examination of the affected area.

Once a diagnosis has been made, your practitioner will explain their findings and outline a treatment plan. A further 20 minutes will then be available to start treatment. After this, if required, your therapist will recommend that you book in for a series of follow up treatments. Treatment cycles will vary dependent upon your condition but typically range between 4-6 sessions. All treatment plans are planned for your individual needs and will consist of a variety of treatment options to achieve your goals.

Please remember to wear/bring appropriate clothing so that we can assess the affected area.

Cancellation Policy

Appointment slots are reserved for clients at the time of booking. In the event of late cancellation, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer this to another patient. We therefore request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice should you need to change or cancel your booking. Late cancellations or appointments not attended may be charged in full.

Disabled Access

Mill Clinic and Old Colwyn clinic have disabled access available but if you do have special access requirements, please contact us prior to your appointment to ensure appropriate access is in place. The clinic in Denbigh is down a short flight of stairs and therefore we are unable to provide wheelchair access.
